want to lift me off the ground.

But what are you doing to win my heart?
Positive words you said at the start.

But things get old
so I am told
especially if you don't glisten gold.

What were you really trying to gain?
Just another man driving me insane?

Until now I thought I really knew you
but the truth of the matter is "What do you do?"

You told me you had money
your words dripped like honey.

I didn't really care
since I had my own to spare.

Is this the game men play
when they want a lay?

Is this what they say
while we think wedding day?

There is more to love
than money and sex.
